As a Flexi Bank Health Care Assistant you'll be there for people in their time of greatest need. We provide free specialist care and support to patients with terminal illnesses whilst offering vital emotional support for their families. It's all about giving them the best possible quality of life. The support we offer is tailored to meet individuals' medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.
Duties will include
? Assists with washing, bathing, showering, hair and oral care.
? Assists with dressing and undressing.
? Applies lotions and creams appropriately during the provision of skin care.
? Assists with nutritional requirements including the preparation of light meals and drink according to dietary requirements and choice.
? Assists with toileting, which may include the use of bedpan, commode or lavatory.
? Provides a social contact and encourages appropriate involvement of family.
