HOME CARE / COMMUNITY CARE ASSISTANT RSD is a family run business and is looking to recruit a dedicated team who are able to assist individuals with every day duties that they find more difficult in order to support their independence and to allow them to remain at home as they wish. RSD Homecare has been awarded a contract by Swansea Social Services to assist with the care of their Domiciliary Care Service Users, as a result we are currently looking to recruit more Homecare Workers to provide help with personal care and offering support to clients in their own homes in Swansea. Whether you are looking to work just a part time or full time RSD, we are looking to champion the Homecare Service in Swansea by recruiting and retaining the best most dedicated workers such as you within the Sketty and Mumbles area of Swansea. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional tailored care to support our clients within their own homes. You may give some help with shopping; getting clients in/out of bed or support with their domestics. We are committed to ensuring that our clients live as full a life as possible in the comfort of their home while supporting them to maintain their independence and dignity. We continue to pay the best rates of pay as well as help to support your ongoing training portfolio, keeping your certification up to date. You can make a real difference to people’s lives whilst working shifts. Shift times would be between 7am – 14:30 and 15:00 to 22:30 at the latest, Monday to Sunday. A full UK driving license is essential. All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and require two references including most recent employer. The appointed Home carers will be responsible for the following duties: 1. Domiciliary care support to clients in their own homes. 2. Personal care when required. 3. Assisting with general household duties. 4. General companionship and compassion for the individual that is receiving the care Experience is preferred however not essential as full training can be provided by ourselves. The applicant may have completed some of the following skills and qualifications: Any which need renewing and further training can be arranged through RSD. 1. Manual handling certificate (Mandatory) 2. Food Hygiene Certificate (Mandatory) 3. First Aid (Mandatory) 4. Medication Awareness 5. POVA 6. Dementia Awareness 7. Fire Safety Other courses can be arranged depending on previous experience including progression into the Nationally recognised QCF Qualification in Health and Social Care.
